Typically in an election year the choice is crystal clear who the candidate of choice is for one reason or another. With November 8 looming I will once again default to protecting Second Amendment rights, but also to conscience. We have two major party candidates for President and one has zero respect for gun rights so she cannot receive your vote. The Republican candidate has made comments which don’t sit well with some and many of those people feel they will vote for the Democrat. If you cannot bring yourself to vote for the Republican nominee and will not vote for the Democrat then I’d suggest you vote for the Libertarian candidate. He has had some gaffs in his little-known campaign but he will protect gun rights. There are many other areas where you may default to decide your vote, but for this blogger, gun rights are one I care about deeply. After the election is decided I suspect there will be many future blog posts as our new commander in chief takes over Washington.
