When I wrote about a Weller Bourbon yesterday and checked back through the posts I realized I never even mentioned W.L. Weller Special Reserve. This was a tasty Bourbon, but I found it too mild for my tastes so I mixed it and it was gone like the wind. It had a nice sweetness complimented by caramel and honey, but just was a tad bit on the boring side. It made a fantastic Bourbon and ginger and came and went in a flash. At 90 proof it wasn’t too strong and with a low price point it fit the bill perfectly. If you find a bottle, give it a whirl!
