Suppose a couple of your local breweries got together and created a beer to support a local radio station. Earlier this year Little Raleigh Radio was denied an FCC license so they continued as a streaming station, but two breweries, Big Boss and Trophy Brewing, came together to create a beer to help support the Little Raleigh Radio. The colaboration beer, Air Support, was released on November 21 and the 6.5% ABV beer was crafted using Mosaic, Citra, and Amarillo hops. It’s a juicy beautiful IPA and these breweries should get together more often. The flavors were wonderfully tropical and the bitterness worked very well with the malt. I still spot bottles out and about on occasion so pick one up if you happen upon it, you will not be disappointed.
