Yesterday I took a stab a recreating the Bloody Mary I described a few days ago. I came pretty darn close, but didn’t have a spicy pickle to serve with it. I thought you might be interested in the amounts and while they were eyeballed, I have them pretty close.
1 teaspoon horseradish
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1 1/2 teaspoons Pickapeppa sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons Crystal hot sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons Lee & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
2 ounces Clamato juice
2 ounces Tomato juice
2 ounces Vodka
1 lime wedge
Put ice in glass, add all ingredients, squeeze lime, shake, and serve. Yummy!
In case you are wondering I got the Crystal hot sauce from WalMart. Not every store carries it, but most do. You can check their website to find if it is available in your local store. World Market has the Pickapeppa sauce. Other than those two the ingredients are straightforward. Gopher it!
