Opened a bottle of Hardywood RVA IPA last night. The beer was brewed with over 300 pounds of Cascade, Columbus, Chinook, Glacier, Magnum, Nugget and Centennial hops. The beer clocked in at 7% ABV and despite the label only listing 62 IBU it was resinous and grassy on the palate. The hops came from local sources including Whipple Creek Farms, Elephant Hop Growers, Hoot N Holler Hops, and Home Grown Hopyards. Definitely a wet hop lovers dream and a tasty beverage.
