When I envisioned this blog I really thought it would be about pistols and beer. Maybe I should have laid out a plan since lately it seems to be all over the place with rifles, shotguns, ammo, wine, liquor and beer.
A few days ago I received a note from Sandor Katz that his new book, The Art of Fermentation, was out. If you don’t know him then shame on you. Sandor wrote Wild Fermentation which is a must have for anyone who may have an inkling to ferment things at home. In it he has recipes for anything from pickles to miso (I know, normally lists go from A to Z, but I don’t have the book in front of me at the moment!).
Book reviews are not normally something I do, but I plan to get this book in the very near future and you should too!
